www.rmcaudiodirect.com is the e-commerce website for RMC Audio Inc. We are a privately held company that has been around for 10 years with roots that go back 5 more. In 1993 a small guitar shop called Rik's Music opened up in Knoxville, Tennessee. Rik's quickly grew to be the largest store in Knoxville in just 5 years due to aggressive pricing and great customer service. One of the owner's decided to start a website for the store called www.riksmusic.com in 1997. As anyone knows the internet exploded shortly therafter and so did Rik's internet sales. Rik's Music was then split into two distinct companies, Rik's Guitars, and www.riksmusic.com in late 1999. We became www.riksmusic.com and sales increased as the internet became more widely used and accepted until in 2005 we changed our name to RMC Audio. www.rmcaudio.com was born. Then in late 2008 we launched a fully e-commerce website www.rmcaudiodirect.com. We are currently expanding our lineup to include guitars and basses again, more accessories, lighting, acoustic drums, and more.
