The e60 features a 16mm, 24K gold sputtered condenser capsule housed in a brass capsule assembly, 4 position hi-pass filter (flat, 40Hz, 80Hz and 120Hz), 20dB pad. CAD's proprietary discrete linear power supply for efficient low noise and linear power regulation, allows greater dynamic range and lower equivalent self-noise This is a cardioid condenser mic with a frequency response of 30Hz - 20kHz (with low end boost) and a maximum of 138dB SPL (with pad on).

The M9 is a cardioid single tube externally biased condenser microphone that features servo-valve technology. The M9 is a natural bridge between the valve technology developed for the VX2 microphone and the servo op-amp technology developed for the M-Series microphones. The head amp in the M9 microphone is a 12AX7 tube in a circuit that is optimized for super wide dynamic range and low noise. The output stage is a high speed dual op-amp in a balanced differential configuration that allows long cables to be used without affecting microphone performance.
