OctoPre MkII is a powerful input upgrade for your Pro Tools system, or any digital audio workstation. This tool adds eight fantastic sounding microphone preamplifiers to your rig. These are the same Focusrite preamps found on the acclaimed Saffire Pro Range with some useful extras. The OctoPre MkII has an optical output that is perfect for expanding most recording interfaces. You can add microphone preamplifiers to your rig so that you can record your entire band at one time. These preamps are perfect for both drums and and for instrument level signals. The digital output lets users make the most ADAT inputs, which is good for expanding the number of mic-pre inputs on your interface. Connect OctoPre MkII to your audio interface’s ADAT input to create a high quality, multi-channel recording solution, ideal for tracking drums, guitars, keyboards, vocals and more.
