To start, the PRX615M delivers maximum performance for its weight and size. The PRX615M houses 1000W of clean, Class D power (2 x 500W), giving you plenty of headroom for any application. And at only 44 lbs., the PRX615M is one seriously portable speaker. Powered by that amp is a 15" Differential Drive woofer and a 1.5" HF driver with 50 x 90 degrees of coverage. The input section of the PRX615M features DSP processing that provides user selectable system EQ, protection, gain reduction, crossover functionality, dynamic limiting, and discrete component optimization.
The PRX615M cabinet is built from a combination of 25mm and 18mm strong, lightweight poplar made. The cabinet is then covered and protected by JBL's tour proven DuraFlex finish. The grille is made from dent-resistant 16 gauge steel and the enclosure has a large die-cast aluminum handle bar with a fine tuned ergonomic rubber grip for maximum comfort. Each of the PRX615M's eight M10 fly-points are strength-tested to support up to 1000 lbs. each. There's also one M10 pull-back point available, making speaker placement as easy as possible. If pole mounting is your thing, there's a dual-angle pole mount socket for extra flexibility.
