The Roland TD-20X is their new "Expanded" percussion module with over 800 sounds, 50 new kits and other new features and COSM tweaks to take your drumming to the next level. As with the original TD-20 it has Group faders to let drummers adjust the relative part levels, while 15 Pad Compressors and Pad EQs make shaping sounds easy. COSM modeling makes life even easier, letting you take full control of both the way your drumkit sounds as well as the room you play in. There are plenty of parameters for you to tweak to get that perfect set, or of course you've got 50 new kits to play with right out of the box.

A choice of 10 analog outputs and a S/DPIF digital output offer plenty of options when mixing live or in the studio. Multi-track drum recordings are incredibly easy to set up with the TD-20X's direct outs. The Roland TD-20X also boasts a Compact Flash slot, which can be used for storing custom drum kits and sequencer patterns with optional memory cards. The Roland TDW-20 Expansion Board which adds 300 new sounds, 50 new kits, and a host of new features and COSM parameters to tweak is already installed making this the "expanded" TD-20. The new sounds, new kits, and incredible improvement in dynamic response as well as ambience really turn the Roland TD-20X into a completely revamped drum module.
