It's a tiny but easy to use and great sounding guitar amp. We got it to do pretty much everything it can without even looking at the manual too so its really user-friendly. The DRX8 8" Active Speaker is the most compact of the DXR Series speakers, but don’t worry, this speaker packs a huge punch! Yamaha’s DXR10 Active Speaker is compact and portable and can be used a floor monitor or main speaker. It has an astounding 131dB SPL. The DXR10 features Yamaha's proprietary FIR-X tuning utilizing linear phase FIR filters for the crossover network. FIR-X tuning optimizes frequency and phase response while adjusting the time alignment between the HF and LF transducers. The frequency range is 56Hz-20kHz with a coverage angle of H90 X V60 degrees. All signals are processed by a 48-bit (76-bit accumulator) high-performance processor and high-precision 24-bit discrete A/D and D/A converters with S/N ratio and dynamic range.
The DXR10 is moulded in non-resonant enclosures and are specially designed to produce less distortion and improve the sound quality. Equipped with heavy-duty steel grills and ergonomic aluminum handles, the DXR10 is a strong, portable speaker. The DXR's polemount socket features two positions (0° and 7°) that directs the acoustic energy away from reflective surfaces and on to your audience instead. The DXR10 speakers come equipped with rigging points for rigged application with standard eyebolts (not included). Optional U-brackets allow simple and easy rigging in both horizontal and vertical configurations.
