The TC Electronic Flashback Delay and Looper pedal gives you 6 seconds of delay time and 10 different delay types. Included are TC Electronics legendary 2290 delay! This pedal also doubles as a looper pedal. A very cool feature is TC's audio tapping technology which allows you to set delay times by strumming your guitar. The Flashback Delay also features a switch which allows you to change between quarter notes, dotted 8's or stereo left and/or right.

Great pedal, I have owned alot of delay pedals and this one is fabulous!  The tone is wonderful (courtesy of an analog pass-through of the dry signal) and the delays all sound great and are super usable. I rate this as a better value than their Nova Delay in that it can be powered from 9v power supplies (like PedalPower2), smaller, sounds better!!!

Very, very versatile pedal. It's does amazing delays and they sound pristine. Digital and analog sounds abundant. The Tape Echo sounds pretty good compared to a few others I have tried. I especially like the "tap tempo" feature.  You have to put some time into this pedal to get out what its capable of, that's for sure! For example, in the "DYN" for dynamic setting, your dry signal is maintained and the delay comes after you hit the note, i.e., the delay is engaged dependent on how fast you play a note - said another way, your notes, slow or fast, have time to "get out there" before the delay affects or is blended with the dry signal. You just have to try this!

Flashback Delay - big bang for the buck! March 13, 2011

Clean and quiet with a small footprint, this delay dials in many sounds easily. Tape and Analog settings are the most useful to me, and Reverse is the most fun! I wish there was a tone knob or darker delays. Maybe if the Toneprint software becomes available, it will be possible to create a sound that is darker than what's currently available. The Flashback's buffer is noticeable and "stiffens" the sound slightly, but it's not a deal breaker, but is the reason I did not give 5 stars.
