Description

The Ultrasone Pro 750's are a fantastic sounding, safe, and comfortable set of headphones that work well for almost any situation. The Pro 750's are closed back headphones so you can expect a good amount of isolation.

These closed-back headphones use the stiffest drivers available: Titanium-plated! These drivers offer the most exact and correct sound reproduction you can imagine. Using specifically developed velvet ear pads, you will have fantastic comfort for extensive working hours, combined with a maximum of isolation. The Pro 750 comes in the safe PRO hard case, including one straight and one coiled cord, a spare pair of velvet ear pads which are easy to change due to the speed-switch technology.

ULE-technology & PRO design
Pro 750 headphones have Ultra Low Emission (ULE) technology which give significant benefits for professional users. The Pro 750 appearance does not only distinguish the professional line but also allows a higher comfort level due to covering more ear anatomy area a higher degree of transparency in combination with the spatial sense and understanding.

To understand what ULE-technology does, you need to know that most headphone drivers produce low-frequency magnetic fields as they convert an electric signal into an acoustical signal you hear as music. In response, Ultrasone developed a special MU Metal shielding (ULE-technology) to reduce the radiation by up to 98% compared to current headphones. The ULE-technology has stood the test of international review and is recommended by technical surveillance organizations. Ultrasone originally developed the ULE-technology for professionals as they do spend half of their lives in headphones. But due to grand requests the ULE-technology has now been integrated in other Ultrasone headphone lines.

S-Logic Natural Surround Sound
Through the S-Logic Natural Surround Sound the usual headphone sound will be moved out of the head in the room around you. The sound is no longer locked in, but appears broad and detached. Directions and distances can be heard and perceived - it is just like being in a live concert. For this new technology additional equipment is not required. Take a pair of Ultrasone headphones plus your sound device and you will be ready for the 3-dimensional sound enjoyment!

S-Logic does not only create a Natural Surround Sound. S-Logic allows at the same time a reduction of sound pressure levels by up to 40% (3-4 dB) for the same loudness sensation. This may reduce the risk of hearing damage while ensuring hours of fatigue-free listening. However, Ultrasone generally advises not to listen to music at high volumes to prevent hearing damage.

Great Product. Great Price. Great Service. February 12, 2009
Reviewer:  Andrew Taylor from La Mirada, CA
While these phones aren't well known, the few reviews I read about them from music pros were quite good.  One of the most important was from a pro mixer who said that the Ultrasones 750s were the only headphones he could mix accurately, sounding very similar to stereo monitors.  I was looking for headphones to fill this role, despite the common thought that one can not/should not mix with phones.  Rather than paying $700 for a pair of studio monitors, I chose to invest in the Ultrasone 750s at RMCAudio in May of 08 and was not disappointed.  The price was fantastic, and the service was amazing.  Since I've not had much experience with headphones, I wasn't sure how to gauge the quality of these, but I can at least say that they made the Sony MDR-V150s sound really bad.  The PRO 750s served me well last semester as I wrote a minute's worth of mockups with EastWest Gold each week.  To say the least, the PRO 750's are far better than any other "professional" headphones I've ever used.

Thank you for your feedback on this review. We appreciate your input!
