The DFP-9500C from Yamaha is a double chain drive, double bass drum pedal that can be converted to a strap-drive pedal with the included woven nylon belt. You can adjust the pedal for beater angle, footboard angle, and spring tension. The pedal features stabilizer bars below the rocker shafts to eliminate flex, teardrop-shaped holes in the beater hubs that firmly hold the beater shaft and keep the beater from spinning, a beater with felt on one side and hard plastic on the other, and a side-adjustable hoop clamp to firmly hold different thickness hoops. The pedal ships with a hard sided transport case to protect while traveling. The DFP-9500C is Yamaha’s most popular model, famous for its response and durability.
