This cymbal is a marked upgrade from the previous PCY130sc.
It's lighter and more responsive. They relocated the input electronics away from the most common striking area ensuring greater reliability. Edge strikes are more consistent due to the wider edge strike sensor area. THE ONLY drawback is that they have shrunk the bell size, therefore more precision is needed for consistent bell strikes.
As a 2 zone this unit works GREAT. Can be challenging to use that bell zone for consistent crash strikes.
Otherwise this cymbal is perfect for your e-drumming needs
