The Yamaha TP65S is a multi zone electronic drum pad normally used for snare drums. The TP65S comes with a stereo cable. Recommended modules are all Yamaha. The DTX500, DTX700, and DTX900 all work with the TP65S.

Replaced snare pad of DTXplorer January 12, 2012

Replaced the snare pad of my son's DTXplorer. Makes the drum kit more versatile, allowing rim shots and cross-sticks. A larger diameter would have been better for cross-sticks. Still, the improvement in playability and versatility is well worth the price.
