Company History This website is the e-commerce website for RMC Audio Inc. We are a privately held company that has been around since 1998. In 1993 a small guitar shop called Rik's Music opened up in Knoxville, Tennessee. Rik's quickly grew to be the largest store in Knoxville in just 5 years due to aggressive pricing and great customer service. One of the owner's decided to start a website for the store in 1997. As anyone knows the internet exploded shortly after that and so did Rik's internet sales. Rik's Music was then split into two distinct companies one for local Knoxville business and one for mail order and internet sales. We are of course the internet sales part and sales increased as the internet became more widely used and accepted. In 2005 we changed our name to RMC Audio to better focus on our core business and set ourselves apart from our past. To better serve our customers in late 2008 we launched a fully e-commerce website which you are on now. We are currently expanding our lineup organically so if you want something we don't currently sell let us know. RMC Audio Direct's goal is to exceed customer expectations.
